Laboratorija ideja je godišnja konferencija Centra za studije evropske politike (CEPS) iz Brisela koja okuplja različite zainteresovane strane, od donosilaca odluka do akademika i predstavnika think tank. Ovogodišnju konferenciju, koja je održana 22-23. februara u Briselu, otvorio je predsjednik Evropske komisije Žan Klod Junker.
Jovana Marović, izvršna direktorka Politikon mreže, učestvovala je na panelu posvećenom Zapadnom Balkanu. Pored Jovane, panelisti su bili i Đenoveva Ruiz Kalavera, direktorka za Zapadni Balkan u Generalnom direktoratu za politiku susjedstva i proširenja Evropske komisije, Nikola Dimitrov, ministar inostranih poslova Makedonije, Tena Prelec, stručna saradnica na Londonskoj školi ekonomije i političkih nauka (London School of Ecnomics and Political Science) i Tobi Fogel iz CEPS-a. Jovana je predstavila svoje viđenje daljih mogućih izazova u procesu integracije Zapadnog Balkana, osvrnula se na predviđene instrumente u (EU-ZB) Strategiji Evropske unije za jačanje vladavine prava, a upoznala je prisutne i sa gorućim problemima u Crnoj Gori u okviru poglavlja 23 i 24.

The Ideas Lab is an annual conference of the Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS) from Brussels, which brings together various stakeholders, from decision-makers to academics and think tanks. This year’s conference, which was held on 22-23 February in Brussels, was by Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission.
Jovana Marovic, Executive Director of the Politikon Network, took part in a panel devoted to the Western Balkans. The panelists were also Genoveva Ruiz Calavera, Director for the Western Balkans in the Directorate General for Neighborhood and Enlargement of the European Commission, Nikola Dimitrov, Macedonian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tena Prelec, Research Associate at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Toby Vogel from CEPS. Jovana presented her vision of further possible challenges in the Western Balkans’ integration process. She referred to the foreseen instruments for strengthening the rule of law in the EU-WB Enlargement Strategy, and introduced the participants with the burning issues in Montenegro under chapters 23 and 24.
